Last week our colleagues at FLS Projects Indonesia arranged vessel charter and supervised the loading of heavy machineries for the journey from Jakarta Port to Jebel Ali, UAE.
These machineries were brought to Jakarta on Landing Crafts and barges from mine sites all over the country, for repair and refurbishment prior delivering to the Middle East.
FLS’ scope also included dismantling buckets, arms, and counterweights before loading onto the vessel. FLS’ Project Managers guided the stevedores handling the heavy lift operations and precisely following the stowage plan. The proactive communication and close coordination with Agent, Port Captain, and the Master, as well as the port authorities and standby mechanics, ensured a timely and smooth operation at the port. Well done and keep up the good work Team Indonesia!
